When Ken traded under his own name, Ken Van Der Water Belts, his handmade one-off casual belt pieces were the talk of the town in his small ‘The Leather Nook’ in Cape Town, South Africa.
From laced or embossed to hand dyed and stitched, Ken’s belts were made to last often beyond a lifetime.
During the 1980s and 1990s, metal studs and jewels were added to suit the trends of both Rock'n'Roll and Western.
