Buckaroo’s journey with Sydney Tools began back in 2005 when they opened their very first store in Dulwich Hill, Sydney.
From that single location to now over 110 stores across the country, we’ve grown together—side by side. Both of us are second-generation, family-owned businesses, built on shared values and a strong sense of trust.
What’s made it special from the start is the direct, down-to-earth communication with decision makers who understand the trade. It’s been a true partnership, shaped by mutual respect and a shared passion for quality and hard work.
Total Tools
Our journey with Total Tools kicked off at their Taren Point store—the first one to ever stock Buckaroo gear. Tanya first walked into the store carrying belts and frogs for riggers, knowing there was a refinery just down the road and a ready-made clientele.
That was all the way back in 2000, and we’re proud to be celebrating 25 years together in 2025. Loyalty has always been our strength, and this partnership is a great example of that.
Since then, Total Tools has grown to 120 stores across Australia, and we’ve been right there with them. They were the ones who nudged us into the 21st century—encouraging us to barcode our products, learn how to merchandise, and figure out how to actually hang our gear in-store.
It was all new territory for us, and they helped lead the way.
Trade Tools
Our relationship with Trade Tools started in Queensland back in 2007, and it’s been built on shared family values from day one.
Tanya formed an immediate and trusting connection with Greg Ford, the owner—someone who genuinely valued Australian-made products and believed in doing business the right way.
From the beginning, Trade Tools stocked Buckaroo in all five of their stores, showing real commitment to the partnership. Since then, we’ve continued to grow together, grounded in trust, independence, and mutual respect.
