How to measure your kid for a Buckaroo Kids Tool Belt - step-by-step
Quick, simple, and done in minutes. You’ll need a soft tape measure (or a piece of string + ruler) and a kid that doesn't squirm.
Step 1
Have your child stand naturally and wrap a soft tape measure around the spot where the belt will sit (hips/low waist, near the belly button or under). Keep it snug, not tight.
No tape? Use string and measure it against a ruler.
STEP 2
Check the measurement against our sizes
- Small: 60–69 cm
- Large: 65–74 cm
Unlike an adult belt, this doesn’t need to be a perfectly snug fit — the suspenders do a lot of the heavy lifting and keep the belt sitting comfortably, even with a bit of extra room. If your child’s measurement sits in the overlap (65–69 cm) or you’re unsure, choose Large so they can grow into it and get more years of building fun.
