Back in 2002, this belt was designed for a mechanic who needed a solution to the problem of his belt buckle damaging the cars he was working on.

Measure around where your belt sits, at your waist or hips, high or low, however you wear it. Relaxed, after a full breath out.

STEP-BY-STEP MEASURING INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Use a tape measure or flexible seamstress tape. No tape? Thread a piece of string through your belt loops, mark where it meets after one full lap, then measure it against a regular tape.
  2. Wrap it around where your belt sits, at your waist or hips, high or low. Keep it level and overlapping at the front.
  3. Stand relaxed, take a full breath in, exhale, then pinch the tape where it meets and read the measurement.
  4. Enter that number above in mm or inches.
  5. Already have a belt that fits? Measure from the inner end of the buckle to the hole you use most and enter that instead.

The first number is the smallest notch and the last is the largest. The tinted column is the centre notch, the one to aim for. Velcro belts have about 20mm of extra adjustment past Notch 1 and Notch 5.

This belt is very well made and looks great..
I bought it for travel so going thru the airport and as there is no metal in the belt you don't have To take it off going through the check points.
