The Buckaroo Crew: Meet the people behind the belts
\MEET THE BUCKAROO CREW
We’d like to introduce you to a few members of the Buckaroo family so that when you buy a Buckaroo tool belt, you’ll know it’s an investment. Family is at the heart of our brand. We take care and consideration for our community and pride ourselves on the core values that make up a family. Behind every belt is a pair of working hands.
Chris has worked with Buckaroo for over 10 years; he first got his start at Buckaroo when original CEO Ken Van Der Water hired him. Chris has learnt all his sewing skills from Ken himself as well as a couple of other key people. Chris is now a team leader and has been passing on his skills to other Buckaroo employees. As team leader of the tool frog/holder section, he is a part of the team, which makes all our tool holders from start to finish.
Adelina has worked at Buckaroo for 14 years. She has watched Buckaroo grow from its humble beginnings to its now global business. At the start of her career, she was one of only 5 people who made up the staff force at Buckaroo at the time. She has moved with Buckaroo from its first small workshop to its now large factory with a workforce of 50. Adelina takes part in the making of tool belts by sewing the backs of the belt before it is passed on to the next team.
Maya has been apart of the Buckaroo crew for 1 year. In this time, she has shown great initiative and leadership skills. She is apart of the tool frogs/holders team and has learnt all aspects of making products under the guidance of Chris. Maya is now a team leader in training.
Billy has worked at Buckaroo for over 4 years. He first began his journey through a traineeship with Buckaroo in manufacturing technology. After this traineeship Billy was lucky enough to try out many different zones at the beginning of his career at Buckaroo which includes the belt making, tool frog and cutting zones, since then he has become team leader of the cutting zone. Billy runs two of our larger cutting machines which use advanced technologies to cut out the leather pieces which make up all our products.
We hope you enjoyed reading about our family here at Buckaroo!
