2021 marks 50 years of Buckaroo. Who would have thought a backyard workshop would turn into what Buckaroo is today. From humble beginnings in South Africa, in 1971, a love of leatherwork quickly morphed into a fully-fledged family business — relocating to Australia, with the land down under laying deep roots at the heart of our Buckaroo brand.
The late nineties saw a seemingly simple request by two Maori tradesmen dramatically change the Buckaroo brand's trajectory. They were sourcing a tool belt that was comfortable, high quality and supportive. The product was Buckaroo's now best-seller – the Signature Belt.
This bespoke design single-handedly revolutionised the way tradies carried their tools and ushered in a new and exciting era for Buckaroo and the greater industry.
